CECILIE ANNA composes music for poems written in Nynorsk (one of the two official languages of Norway) and is currently working on a collaboration with Svein Olav Langåker, editor at the online newspaper Framtida.no and author Einar Økland: ‘Vinje, Hauge, Økland, Hurra!’. She has composed new music for Vinje’s poem ‘Blåmann’, which, according to Einar Økland, made them jump for joy:
”It is original, credible and magnificent entertainment. Some of what I hear in her music is so unusual that I can’t really put it into words. It’s not often you come across someone who is a vocalist, instrumentalist and composer, and who is able to create musical scores for other people’s lyrics.’
